Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of ContractorGantt, a scheduling tool for US residential contractors. The service is provided by Dimetris, UAB, a company registered in Lithuania; "we" and "us" below mean that company. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

What the service does

ContractorGantt builds construction schedules from job templates using the critical path method, and tracks progress against them. It produces dates, order-by dates for long-lead items, and payment milestone schedules.

The schedules are estimates, and you are the contractor

This is the part that matters most, so it is not buried. The templates encode typical sequencing and typical durations for US residential work. They are a starting point, not a substitute for your own judgement, your subcontractors' availability, or your local permitting office.

• Verify permit and inspection timing with your own jurisdiction. Requirements and backlogs vary by city and by season.
• Verify lead times with your own suppliers. Ours are industry-typical and they move.
• Do not give a homeowner a completion date you have not satisfied yourself is achievable. The tool helps you work one out; it does not commit to it on your behalf.

We are not liable for losses arising from schedules produced by the service, including missed deadlines, liquidated damages, penalties under your own contracts, or costs from work sequenced differently than the tool suggested.

Your account

• You are responsible for what happens under your login. Use a password you do not use elsewhere, and tell us if you think it has been exposed.
• One account represents one contracting business. There is one login per account today — if the people in your business need their own, tell us and we will say where that is on the list. You may not share a login with another business.
• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.

Share links

When you create a share link for a homeowner, or a confirmation link for a subcontractor, that link works without a password for anyone who has it. It is a long random token and is not listed anywhere, but treat it as you would an unlisted document: anyone you forward it to can open it. You can revoke a share link at any time from the project.

Your content

Your projects, schedules, custom templates and logged progress remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store that data, process it to produce your schedules, and back it up.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use one contractor's job history to inform another contractor's schedule.

Payment

Billing is not active yet. No card is held on file today. When billing begins the price and terms will be shown before you are asked for payment details, and card details will be handled by our payment processor rather than by us.

Availability

The service runs on a single server with nightly backups. We aim to keep it available but do not offer a guaranteed uptime figure, and we do not offer credits for downtime. If the service is unavailable, your data is not lost — but you may not be able to reach it until it is back.

Ending it

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or others.

Changes

If these terms change materially we will say so on this page and, for account holders, by email before the change takes effect.
